The is a Comment on the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Proposed Rule: NPRM: Passenger Screening Using Advanced Imaging Technology (Federal Register Publication)

Truthfully, the screening has never been a thing for me. It's never been an issue and as far as I can see, will never be an issue. I think that it's something that works, something that is very effective, and is something that doesn't do a single thing to hurt or hinder my personal privacy.
Those that have a problem being screened seem to miss the outlying idea that bras and underwear and 'cavities' are the places most illegal things are hidden. And those are the exact areas that need to be scanned the most. If someone has to look at my junk through a tiny screen in xray form to ensure that I will get on my plane, have a safe flight, and land safely in my destination then so be it.
There are two people that are worried about this. The first are people who have thought, are thinking, or will think that they could possibly hide something and bring it onto a plane and this screening is the one thing to make their job really tough. The other people are the same people that will fake a massive neck injury in a fender bender with a deer and try to sue the government for not having a deer crossing sign. The people that oppose this are people that are selfish and only care about themselves. They are the people that will complain no matter what. You say 'We're going to jump' and they say that it's unconstitutional.
They are the people that always have a reason to be unhappy.
So, go ahead. Screen me. Screen the crap out of me. Coming and going if you must. But don't let this be a doorway to more and more restrictions. I don't care if you want to make sure no explosives get on a flight. I do care if you'll look through my phone or computer files as well. There is privacy and then there is necessary precautions. What's on my phone or computer is not a precaution in the least.
Stick to screening and xrays. Maybe a pat down here or there. But please, let's have it be as far as it goes. It's for you and me here. I cooperate, you do the same.
Thank you for reading this! Bye!
