Order 97-4-29, tentatively reselecting Lone Star Airlines to provide subsidized essential air service (EAS) at Enid and Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Brownwood, Texas, for the two-year period beginning March l, 1997. For the first seven months of the rate period, March l, 1997 through September 30, 1997, we propose to select Lone Star to provide Enid, Ponca City and Brownwood with ten round trips a week to Dallas/Ft. Worth at combined annual subsidy rates of
$1,262,143. For the period beginning October l, 1997, through February 28, 1999, we propose to select Lone Star to provide Enid and Ponca City 24 round trips each week, and Brownwood 18 round trips each week to Dallas/Ft. Worth at combined annual subsidy rates of $2, 342.512. We direct Lone Star Airlines and any other interested persons having objections to the selection of Lone Star to provide essential air service as described in ordering paragraph l above, at rates set forth in ordering paragrsph 2 above, to file such objections or competing service proposals no later than 20 days from the date of service of this order.
