CommentWe are responding to the town hall meeting held in Des Moines, Iowa on December 14, 2005. We have two questions. The first question - How do we get the individuals to understand the ticket is an asset? Our solution - We believe SS should actively market the benefits that the ticket posses by using mass media, field offices and mailings. An example would be the process being used for the Medicare part D The second question - How do we get the community providers to be part of an employment network? Our solution would be to make the reimbursement turn around at a quicker rate. Also, educate the community providers so that their missions are similar to SS and the ticket program. Also, to assist the networks in marketing the individuals with the tickets as an undiscovered labor pool. Thank you for your interest in improving the ticket and giving us the opportunity to improve community employment for persons with challenges.
