To Whom It May Concern:
It has come to my attention that according to Proposed Rule Document ID IRS-2011-0039-0001, charter school employees may lose the right to the state retirement plan. Charter schools are an important part of our state educational system. To lose this benefit will only harm the educational state of our nation. If teachers begin leaving charter schools than that could lead to closing those schools doors. This would mean over crowding in the public schools. Most charter school teachers already are paid less than in public school sysytems and taking away the retirement plan only discourages teachers from wanting to teach at these schools. Charter schools are an alternative source of education for our children that help hundreds of thousands of kids who can't afford private schools. This rule will hurt thousands of teachers who already can't afford to live on their meager salaries and students.Why hurt teachers? Why hurt our nation's educational sysytem that is already sufferring? Please do not let this rule stand. Thank you, Christine Pecorella Lake Norman Charter School, NC
