By this order, the Department is prohibiting Pacific Wings L.L.C. (Pacific Wings) from
suspending service at Kalaupapa, Hawaii, and requesting proposals from carriers
interested in providing essential air service (EAS) at the community for a two-year
period, with or without subsidy. (See Appendix A for a service area map). Carriers
should file their proposals no later than January 27, 2011.
