Test Procedure for Commercial Refrigeration Equipment

EPCA, as amended, directed the Secretary of Energy to determine if the energy conservation standard for commercial refrigeration equipment should be updated. If a positive determination is found, the Secretary should issue amended standards not later than January 1, 2013. 42 U.S.C. 6313(c)(5). In reviewing the energy conservation standards, DOE will also review the test procedures for commercial refrigeration equipment.
