Flight is a great recreation many take pride in- Certainly, regulations and laws put flight well out of reach of many Americans, due to cost, and time spent licensing and registering cutting deeply into the wallets and time available for said recreation. Exempting light sport airplanes (as detailed) from much of the current regulations would be a great way to help more Americans enjoy flight, while keeping things safe for not only themselves, but passengers and everybody else.
