In accordance with Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14CFR) 11.61, Air Transport International, Inc., certificate number IXXA544T, petitions the Administrator for approval to operate with the considerations applied for herein.
Approval of this request will allow Air Transport International, Inc. relief from 14CFR 121.613, 121.619(a) and 121.625 by allowing a part 121 operator to dispatch airplanes under instrument flight rules when conditional language in a one-time increment of the weather forecast states that the weather at the destination, alternate airport, or both airports could be below the authorized weather minimums when other time increments of weather forecast state the weather conditions will be at or above the authorized weather minimums. Approval of this Exemption for Air Transport International, Inc. will benefit the public good by improving the reliability of air service throughout the Air Transport International, Inc. route structure. Also, by reducing the number of diversions caused by low weather minimums, safety will be enhanced due to the fact that recovery flights that are caused by a diversion will be drastically reduced.
