The restrictions of sections 406(a)(1)(A), (C) and (D), 406(b)(1), and 406(b)(2) of the Act shall not apply to the payment for lodging and meals by the Plan to the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, AFL–CIO (the Union), a party in interest with respect to the Plan, in a residence hall (the Residence Hall) owned by the Union through its wholly-owned entity IUPAT Building Corporation LLC (the Building Corporation) of the exemption are satisfied.
