The Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 contains provisions that modify the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1946 by requiring that all honey bearing any official U.S. Department of Agriculture mark or statement must also have the name(s) of the countries of origin legibly, permanently, in close proximity to, and at least comparable in size to the official mark.
